Problem
Career decisions start too late. For many young adults, choosing a career happens before they have really understood themselves. They face an overload of options, social expectations and fragmented resources — while existing platforms tend to solve only one part of the journey: finding jobs, learning skills, or networking. Research identified five recurring gaps: 01 Lack of reliable career guidance 02 Disconnect between education and employment 03 Limited personalization 04 Limited access to mentors and peers 05 Career exploration that ends at recommendation The original research identified young adults aged 18–35 as the primary audience and examined their career-development needs, digital behaviour and expectations around personalization and engagement.
Solution
What if career guidance worked more like navigation? Carrience brings self-discovery, career exploration, skill development, mentorship and planning into one continuous experience. Instead of answering only: “Which career should I choose?” Carrience helps users move through: Know Yourself → Set Goals → Explore Careers → Compare Paths → Build Strategy → Create a Roadmap → Take Action → Grow The current product pitch describes Carrience as a career discovery and mentorship platform combining self-discovery assessments, a 1000+ career explorer, personalized roadmaps, mentors, classroom tools and community learning.
